I actually really love these pieces. They are very versatile they go with a formal hair day or your everyday hair bun. You start by putting your hair in a bun or any up style. Then you place the metal ring over your style. Then the metal pin gets pushed straight through your hair. The metal pin is very thin so it will not pull your hair. Comes in 3 different colors silver, gold and rose gold.
